Nothing! Anima is absolutely free for patients to use: all you need to sign up is access to a phone or computer, an email address and mobile phone number. If you don’t have any of these, your practice can even submit requests on your behalf.

Anima helps you contact your GP surgery and get the right care in just three steps:

Access Anima through your GP practice’s website or the NHS App. You may need to create an Anima account the first time you use it, so your practice can securely manage your requests and messages.

Tell us what you need help with in your own words. Our AI helps find the right set of questions for you to answer before sending your request to your practice.
